I did that in a year once
Some people think 50k is high. Modern engines aren't even fully broken in until then
My Polo 9N got to about 160,000 miles, impressive for a 1.2 petrol considering the last 35,000 miles were me relentlessly thrashing it to within an inch of its life!
It is sadly dead now though...
Stick to your rule m8I'd say anything 300K+ is worth a mention haha.
Original clutch at 274k- surely not?

Good, my 10 year old Corsa hasn't long turned 50k.

100K has an almost magical property to it though. Like the car will get a letter from the QueenSome people think 50k is high. Modern engines aren't even fully broken in until then

Driven a Volvo FH12 with 3.6m km on it, seen an Irish plated Scania with 4.5m - both to my knowledge are still in regular use.@Scania highest mileage lorry you've driven or seen?
It leads a varied life, some days it’ll be indeed up & down the motorway just cruising and on other days it’ll be full of heavy pallets doing multiple drops to builders merchants in and around London.I doubt it works harder than a car clutch... its probably designed for that size engine, high loads up hills of a fully loaded trailer, loads of meat for long life.
I bet if you could find some data, at maybe 224k miles it would suggest its maybe still got 90% of its life left cos the reality most the miles were done on the motorway. Probably just guessing at that though.
