But you said you turned your nose up at 3700X for £200? If I had seen that deal I would have bought all they had.
No I did not say that.

The 3700X for £200 was an amazing deal - but you had to get to Stoke to be able to buy one. It was a store-only deal.

I even checked how much it would cost to get to Stoke - and it was about £120 by train, lol.

You said you wouldn’t pay £200 for for a 3700X because you had some kind of mental problem paying £200. £320 for a 3700X is a reasonable price BTW.

Funny how you accuse me of having a bad memory and yet you consistently misquote me time after time :p

easy asked me if I'd be by happy paying £350 for a 5700X and I say "No, I'd be happy paying £300 (or less) for a 5700X".

I also previously (a fairly long time ago) said it would be nice for 8c to be the new mid-range x600 SKU. But that isn't happening as we can all plainly see from AMD's price hikes.

If the 3700X was £200 I would buy it. Simple as that. *Nowhere* did I say I would turn down a £200 3700X. Nowhere. The fact that I looked a the cost of getting to Stoke when they did that in-store only deal should clue you in to that really.

e: Oh I think I know what you're referring to. I said I wouldn't pay more than £200 because it had been £200 previously I'm never OK with paying more than somebody else :p

£200 I would bite at, currently prices, nah.

What’s funnier is your post editing.
