No wireless charging for £800 is a joke to be honest. If it had that I may have considered it. Never mind, anyone with any sense will wait a few months when these phones are worth a quarter of what they sold for.

The price is no worse than any other flagship device. The 5G Galaxy S20 is the same price (albeit you’d be stupid to pay RRP for a Samsung) and that phone comes with awful battery life and the compromised Exynos SoC. The Sony is by far the more rounded product.

True but atleast they have wireless charging and reverse and also have 3 years software updates. Samsung have some market share as opposed to Sony.

If going with O2 refresh, does the airtime plan need to be active when claiming the free headphones?
The way I read it with O2 Refresh you can pay off the phone(device) asap and cancel the airtime.
Not sure how will that work with warranty and etc

TopCashback also has 7% cashback via CarphoneWarehouse as SIM free.

Create account with Quidco and/or Topcashback. Search on said site for carphonewarehouse, click link to open up carphonewarehouse website, order product. Wait several months. Cashback appears (hopefully).

Oops meant to say never done refresh deal. Heard if affects your credit score?

Because of cancelling the contract right?

No the credit check happens before you get accepted onto the Refresh plan - because O2 want to be sure you can afford a tenner a month or whatever the payments are. Cancelling the contract doesn't initiate a second credit check.
