Damn, was hoping it would be better than that, gameplay looks wooden and the gfx look like something from 10 years ago

I don't really understand this sentiment. The asset quality is high, the textures are high-res, there's plenty of geometric detail all around, draw distances are very long, the lighting is excellent all around (HBAO+, high-res shadow maps, a lot of lights casting shadows etc), it has fantastic TAA (SMAA 2TX) as well as upsampling techniques, and obviously you can't get better than RT reflections.

What open world games are you playing that look better than this?? :p

Inb4 the usual ubisoft overpromise, under deliver tactics.

I'm betting the playable npcs will share a very limited pool of abilties. You'll be sick of looking at the same skillsets after a few hours.

So torn on this, was sold on the idea of the original but the main character was boring and uninspired making for a dull game. 2nd one was a better game but started edging towards something sillier which wasn't what initially caught my eye with WD and now Legion looks like a Saints Row game and I detest them as I find them over the top and cringey.

Does 8K gaming actually mean the end of aliasing once and for all? I expected it to happen with 4K but you still get the jaggies with 8 million pixels. Maybe 32 million will sort it. :D

I'm up for this. Never bothered with WD2 and usually avoid Ubisoft games as they bore the sh** out of me but the setting and premise for this looks good and I like what I've seen so far of the gameplay.

The first game was brilliant, the 2nd felt like a backwards step. Nothing I've seen in the actual gameplay makes me want to purchase it straight away

Might pick it up down the line when on offer.
