Edit, didnt realise I was replying to such an old post heh, nevermind.
Damn thats insanely good, im held back with my cpu and ram i think. I tried a quick overclock on my ram but it hardlocked and ended up corrupting a few things which took some time to fix. My Icue for one still doesn't work correctly lol, will detect the ram for a moment then show a red triangle. All the sensors are working so its detecting parts of it but not the RGB side which is rather annoying as it will lose sync!
Think its time to get an i9 9900k, cheapest upgrade option without having to upgrade all 3 base components!
I am not too sure to be honest I wasnt following the hardware side of things for the last 4 years only figured out what was best now when building my new system ^^
Sounds like AMD are coming out swinging just now (dammit i just bought a 10900k lol) but yeah, upgrading all 3 compononents wont be cheap.

Welp, got an update from the shop I bought my Asus Stric 3090 OC from... Delivery date now unknown lol. They said they expected a delivery from Asus on the 10th but my position in the queue hasn't changed so I assume they never arrived. Truly a guessing game right now.

Soooooooo, before I realised my PSU had issues I ran an 850W Seasonic Gold PSU, as you know Seasonic are doing a free 3090 cable to remove the adapter. To cut a long story short I switched to a Corsair RM1000i after PC resets with the 3090, but the cable is due today. Who would wire the cable to work with Corsair? I'm tempted, but it scares the hell out of me. I'm competent to do it in every sense of the word, but equally switch two wires and well that's at least the GPU out the window...
On that note, does anyone have any Corsair or 3090 wiring diagrams? Asking for a friend!

All 480W of it and it wants more at 100% usage. Can't see me wanting to run over 525w if any future bioses come out. I've had my fun and I'm just smashing old games supersampled at 4k/120. I think my card might be a golden bin because I've never seen it hit over 59c.
Update on the gigabyte 3090 gaming oc not fitting my nzxt h1
It does now !
basically took each of the 4 steel struts , drilled some new holes to drop how low the motherboard sits by about 1cm and its in
I just need one of those front grills to replace the glass front.
Incidently ivam running this on the 650 power supply without issue.
I have under volted , but without compromise and it runs like a dream

Smashed the 14k mark tonight! Managed to keep temps at 37c lol with a new 55mm Radiator and new fans at full tilt. Absolutely maxed the card out now, only way to gain more is a higher power limit which i may dabble with a new vbios. Happy days!

I can't wait to start my custom loop but I'm holding out for EKWB to release their block for the founders edition in case its really good.
Smashed the 14k mark tonight! Managed to keep temps at 37c lol with a new 55mm Radiator and new fans at full tilt. Absolutely maxed the card out now, only way to gain more is a higher power limit which i may dabble with a new vbios. Happy days!
