Still running my ATCS201 as my primary system for now what is almost 19 years
Going to attempt a Ryzen 5600X/ RTX 3070 build into it next month. Hopefully it all fits...
It should do, the biggest problem as you know (aside from the somewhat restricted airflow and tricky cable management) is the width of the case. It seriously limits the width of GPU you can use, especially with the power plugs on the side. If the reference 3070 is the same width as the 1080/2000 series reference cards you should be OK. But an AIB card may be pushing it.
I need to update this thread as I changed the hardware in the 201 I posted above, it now has a FX8350, 32GB 1886, Crossfire 7970’s. I’ve got a 120mm intake in place of 3 of the front 5.25 bays, and I’ve got some replacement acrylic so I can keep the original panel, and make a replacement with a 140mm fan on the side to help the crossfire 7970’s which pump a ton of heat in to the case.
