Need some expert monitor advice

Hi guys.. building a new puter which so far is :

CASE - ThermalTake RGB View 91
MOTHERBOARD - ASUS Crosshair Hero VIII
PROCESSOR - AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
POWER SUPPLY - Corsair RM 850x
CPU COOLER - NZXT Kraken X73
MEMORY - Patriot Viper 4 Blackout Series DDR4 64GB 3600 MHz
DRIVE C - SAMSUNG 1 TB 970 EVO PLUS NVMe M.2
DRIVE D - Western Digital Black 1 TB Gaming NVMe M.2
DRIVE E - Crucial BX500 2 TB 2.5 SSD

... I havent decided on graphics card for obvious reasons but will prob be 3080 and or AMD's finest its
all down to what decent one i can get first.
I need a monitor about 120 htz and my limit is 1000 quids ... i like big monitors so a 27 inch is not on the list. Something between 34 and 40 inches. I have looked at loads but i need some input from you guys that have used or are using good monitors.
I dont like the widescreen styles or curved .. i like the regular TV / Monitor kinda aspect ratios if you know what
i mean. Thankyou in advance .!

I hope you have yet to actually purchase as the Ryzen 5000 CPUs are being launched at the end of the month.

OTOH there are some bargains to be had: one of OCUK's competitors has dropped its prices of the 3900X and 3950X by over £100.

Yup quartz.. well i have had my semi build for a little while now which is ok .. i know about 5900 cpu which i have already decided upon and my bro will be having the 3900 for his build... ( ok at a bit of a loss to me.. brothers gawd.. )
so yeah its just about the monitor now really.

looking at this XG438Q ROG STRIX 43" 3840x2160 VA 120Hz FreeSync2 HDR600 Widescreen LED Gaming Monitor .. has anyone got any experience of these?

There’s a user on here JediFragger I believe he has the PG43UQ which is similar to the one you mentioned.
