Also it was an away match. It’s not so bad when it’s at home and you’re giving your own club your money, but actually stumping up £15 for the benefit of Mike Ashley is far too bitter a pill to swallow.

So it turns out if we stick 5 defenders on the pitch who all work for the team we are OK defensively.

Looks like we are playing 433 now.

I think playing 5 at the back was being too respectful to PSG. We made the same mistake against Chelsea in the FA cup.

Not sure why VDB isn’t getting a look in ahead of Pogba.
He hasn’t started a game yet but always looks to be a positive impact and balances the team nicely.
