~Subwoofer?

I am thinking now though whether I should prioritise a power amp rather than a subwoofer...

As I do have the BK monolith + my hoverBOSS soon, but have little to no suitable dedicated power and just a denon.

I already have the monolith plus and the under construction hoverboss for low end. So maybe I should concentrate on power amplifier?
I'll still be using my Denon as a pre-amp because I'm not biting on quality expensive pres until they pack HDMI 2.1

You could do. Anything from three channel for fronts or whole lot.

I'm using ATI 2000 series, 7 channels. 200w into 8 ohm, 300w into 4 ohm. All channels driven

Thank you: how big of a difference is avr go powered?

Are speakers 4ohm or 8 ohm?
Usual SPL output?
Speaker sensivity?
Existing avr, low end or flagship?
How many channels in the system?

I think you said got a Denon those are pretty good amps probably 80w all channels driven
