update to my score, added 100mhz to the cpu overclock which has upped the overall score a little :)

https://www.3dmark.com/spy/14625119

Score : 18774
Gpu : 19511
Cpu: 15466

Nvidia 3080 Founders Edition 2145mhz/1332mhz
Intel i9-10900k @ 5.3Ghz

Driver: 456.71
Bad new for you Jay-G25 but you spurred me on.
I've been messing and found some more juice.:p
I'll have a few more modges before i settle on my final final score:D

OK final modge but i did get my GPU score over 20,000 on 1 run - never to be repeated again.

https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/51841536

Score: 19076
GPU score: 19976
CPU Score: 15197

Zotac 3090 @ +233mhz GPU + 377mhz Memory
Intel 10850k @ 5.3Ghz

Ram didn't like anything between 2800-3199mhz then 3200mhz it started booting ok.
All the way up to 3733mhz:eek:, anything above that failed - not surprising as my ram is rated at 3000mhz

Sorry Kaapstad:)

Excellent result mate and more inline of a 3090 setup well done on getting the ram up to speed , I imagine that's helping quite a bit as your cpu score has gone up nicely. I don't think there is much left in this 3080 unless it was under water but thats not going to be happening as im awaiting delivery of my 3090 strix oc from OC and will be watercooling that and see how I can push it :D

Out of interest have you flashed the bios of the Zotac? Getting mine today and interested to see how far I can push it as I believe we can’t adjust the voltages outta the box? Also have you had any luck with undervolting? Lastly... is the RAM speed especially important with the 3090 or was this purely just to ease your score up abit?

No flash on the zotac but i would be tempted.
I had a brief look but couldn't find an official one from zotac.
I've not tied under volting either as I'm too thick and only had a bash at upping the memory and gpu clock.
Once i see someone post a zotac high score I'll copy their settings:D and compare.

The same with my ram, i could more than likely tighten the timings but don't want to kill the ram just yet.

Fair enough, I see your result posted a 53C average temp so I assume you're not running the standard fan curve? If you're using 100% I would advise against it as you're using extra power that the GPU/Memory could utilize, but I guess its a fine line to keep the temps down to avoid thermal throttling. Ill have to have a play later, however I doubt ill get near your score with my old 8700k. That's next on the refresh list!

i'd say somewhere in the region of 14k-15,500 ideally if everyhting setup right, that'll be a 1440p pocket rocket and ideal for 4k :)

Thanks mate, with a 800 mem and 80 core OC I got 14707 combined score.

17938 graphics
7278 cpu.

With stock I got a combined score. 14136

graphics 16895
cpu 7248

Looks like my setup isn't performing as it should (potentially)

i tried with default fan curve, 70c on 3d result page, then at 100% fan speed from 40C onwards, ended up at 54C on 3d result page.
I scored 132 points higher on GPU and 95 points higher combined score at 100% fan speed:D:D

I left the cpu and gpu at default speeds so it wasn't pulling near it's limits to keep it comparable
