My Gran is rocking a pretty old system that I built for her several years ago. I think it's a Core 2 Duo 3GB of RAM and an SSD. She says it is slow and wants Windows 10 as her Windows 7 keeps reminding her it is unsupported.
I'm therefore thinking:
i3 10100 £110
H410M-S2H £68
OR
Ryzen 3100 + one of my random GPUs £100 / 3200G £110
ASUS PRIME A320M-K £68
This will be paired with 8GB of DDR4 3200 (£45) and a 256GB NVME SSD if budget allows (can't remember what SSD she has now).
So literally the same price. Which will be better, both in terms of setting it up, it just working without me having to fix it and speed? She is pretty slow at doing anything and will only have one or maybe two tabs open when browsing. She uses her PC for emails, photo management and printing (she has maybe 10GB).
