so i got a msata ssd in an ide converter going into an old lappy. works fine got good speeds from it but only issue is its running hot. the ssd gets up to 68c possibly more. touching the back side of the msata to ide adapter its very hot. not sure if this is regular temps for these msata drives or if its to do with the type of converter im using that very compact and could be the reason for the heat buildup.

thats the type of adapter im using now, iv also put a thermal pad on the ssd underside controller chip so it touches the board to help with cooling the ssd.
