My first attempt, I'm quite new to this but I think it looks to be CPU limited at 2560x1440? Also I think the 350w power limit on the Palit will be a limiting factor since it was hitting the power target max during this run. Would trying to squeeze more out of the CPU help here?

Try overclocking a bit and see if it makes an improvement. Check the CPU usage during benchmark too. I wouldn't have thought you were bottlenecked.
I notice you have motion blur off too. I put mine on because all the benches seem to have it on short.

My lowly 980Ti, though i'd throw this in to see what my soon to be new card has to beat.

Could you post clockspeeds for your CPUs and GPUs please.

Posting "Stock" does not mean anything as this changes from card to card and CPU to CPU.

Updated mine with rough boost clock max (~4.6ghz). I'm not sure how else to report this since it fluctuates.

Rebuilding it all into a big WC rig with a cpu upgrade to a 3900x soon... All the overclocks.

We need to see the settings used on the screenshot please.
Ahh, apologies... My original screenshot caught both screen and had some work stuff, rapid cropping in imgur later I clearly 'missed'.

Done it properly:
