Not sure I see the point in duplicate accounts. That's pretty funny though.

People like arguing, and it doesn't matter what their personal point of view is either.

Alt accounts ensures they keep up the argument, by either arguing against themselves, or adding a supporting view for validation.

It's pretty much the height of internet sadness.

I was a mod on a forum once, and it's surprising how often people did that. Weird.
Major fail from Rubberduck/Diddums there.

I mean surely an IP address is going to be a dupe, unless they're sad enough to use a VPN each and every single time with a different end-point?
A lot of people will be sharing an IP anyhow. Either at the ISP level or elsewhere.

We mostly don't all have unique IPs on the wwwibble :)
