I did some maths, the 16 core Zen 3 is 33% faster in MT than the 18 core Intel

88% faster than the 10 core Intel with 60% more cores, it would be 28% faster as a 10 core, 3% faster as an 8 core so you might be right if its a few % lower clocked than the 16 core.

Yes, assuming they keep the same numbering philosophy. I don't see there being changes to the core counts for these chips for sure.

I'm very interested to see what the respective power draws are. To be fair Intel do extremely well for 14nm but it's that heat output that's the real issue for me. Will a 10900K do 5.3GHz out of the box without custom water cooling?
