Not much help but im very happy with my 240hz 1080p monitor. Most pro csgo players use them. Id test your old monitor first before buying another imho

Definitly pre-build. Far too scared to build one myself.

Its honestly nothing to worry about these days.

Its pretty much, buy a board, click the components into the only bit they can fit into, run a few cables and switch on.

My friend and his son built one I specced for them in a few hours having never done it.

With the internet to hand it's nothing like the old days, where you had little support and it was far more complicated.

You'll get far more for your money, you will learn a lot and be able to troubleshoot and upgrade later down the line, and that first boot is a massive sense of satisfaction.

There's more than enough people on here who will provide their time and guidance too.
