Hello,
My 12 year old has earned and saved hard to buy a gaming PC. He has a budget up to 1000 pounds for the PC, ( I will get him monitor etc).
He is looking for a 1080p set up, he likes FPS and Total war strategy games., and enjoys streaming, creating gaming videos for his friends.

I think I have picked up the basics from reading these forums, but I admit I am out my depth, and need some help to find a suitable PC. I have decided not to build myself. I don't have enough experience and would rather the security of a pick up warranty.

I would really appreciate recommendation of on line retailers that will give him the best set up for his budget.

This seems to be the best I have found so far at his price range, what do you think? Seems to be a fair bit cheaper comparing like for like on other sites. Am I on the right path? Is there something missing here ?

Its all right. I would prefere at lease a 500 gig ssd on it as games are getting bigger every year. New modern warfare will barely fit on a 256 gig drive atm.

Nearest OC do is

I can get the same machine with a GTX1660 Super instead of the 2060.
Considering this is a first PC, and will be used for 1080p gaming, does this make sense to go for the 1660. Will there be notable difference at 1080p?
Reduces the price by 120 pounds which could be used for larger SSD and some games.

You could save 100 quid by installing and picking up a cheap Windows key yourself.

Just put Windows 10 pro on my dads old PC and the activation key cost me £3

Appreciate the suggestions....
I have found this ones from a company called MESH. With a Black friday 10% this is 970 pounds.
And it has a lifetime warranty.... that seems to cover 1 year. Am I right this is a good option?

@SmartUsername read the forum rules.

NO naming competitors in the forums as these forums are ran and paid for my OC UK.

That one looks solid 1080p gaming rig. Only thing I would change is the cooler for the 3600x but it will cope but can become noisy.
