Latex Screed

Hi

Quick question about latex screed....

Needed kitchen screeded before karndean tiles installed - so question is how durable is the latex screed - it may be 1 or months between screeding and flooring installed.....

In my experience it is very durable.

I had the same thing done, it resembled concrete when it hardened. Just dont be running up and down on it with football boots!

Check the specs of the latex. Some are not designed for foot traffic so will crack.

Check your sub base if its concrete, some latex screed can react with the sub base and it will end up turning to powder.
If its a new build, contact the building company.
