COD is 136GB for both the S and X versions, so that's just under 40% of the space gone...
That is huge! Where did you get that from? :)
I wonder whether the storage is so fast that developers aren't bothering to optimise to the same extent as they would have needed to previously?

I wouldnt judge cod for that theory as they are utter crap when it comes to install size, Modern Warfare is same, takes up far too much space for what it is, there patches are also the constantly large size

Yeah same on mine too. To be fair all you need is postcode and house number to get a full address if the drivers use sat nav!

Mines the same, although on my order email it's all there. I spoke to an Argos advisor a few weeks ago and they confirmed the full address. No worries!

1080p60 on Series S?

Microsoft are going to regret ever mentioning 1440p with that console, aren't they? :p I did think it was surprising at the time. With 1/3rd of the GPU power of Series X, 1080p sounds plausible (~25% of the pixels), while 1440p sounds like a stretch (45% of the pixels).

Whilst I agree that it may have been a mistake, in all honesty 1080p60 makes far more sense - if you have a 4k TV then you'd go XsX, and 1440p60 is an odd resolution unless you're planning on using a monitor. 1080p60 is great for all those billions of TVs that are sat in bedrooms or for kids use.

To be fair 60fps on sea of thieves is huge, also its HDR implementation is second to none

I'm not complaining. 1080p would do me nicely. Just noticing the Series S is getting a bit of flack now that information about performance is starting the filter through. I'm finding myself wondering if mentioning 1440p was a bad idea...

I think it's clear now that 1440p will only be used for a 30 fps high quality mode on the S

1080p at 60fps for next gen games will still be brilliant for a good majority of the people buying consoles, especially at the price!
