Corsair vs650 and rtx 3070

Hi guys, quick question: I had a pc powered by a sv650 for almost two years running a rtx 2070+9600k with 0 problems. I read very bad opinion regarding this psu and now upgrading to a 3070 I'm concerned if I should stick with him or not. Do you think the jump from 2070 to 3070 could be too much to handle for that psu? Thank you

Yep. Time for an upgrade. To this (Cheapest decent 750watter I could find on OCUK thats in stock) be quick though because its either this one or the formula is not going to be made anymore.

The SV PSU isn't a bad PSU just built to budget. I used at least one of those to mine with 5 GPUs for a couple of years so they don't just randomly blow up.

However it is a budget PSU and you are buying a premium GPU so for peace of mind then yeah may be worth upgrading as you'll get another 5 years or so of warranty. Up to you really as it'll probably work because your 2070 was fine with it.
