Nope. My order says the same.
But I'm not really expecting any updates until Sunday night into Monday for Tuesday delivery.

Looks like the game DVR on Series X has not been improve from the Xbox One.
Xbox game DVR compared to the PlayStation is total garbage.
Was really hoping for an update to improve it.
Fingers crossed there working on it.

MS didn't gate off 4K on the Series S. It's up to the developers to use whatever resolution they think is suitable, quite a few indie games are running at 4k as they don't need a great deal of power.
Its upscaled not native 4k

argos sent me an email on Tuesday confirming delivery on the 10th via DHL
It's had an update and it is 4k according to windows central

the xbox series s has dedicated hardware to upscale 1440p to 4k
it does NOT do native 4k
It can do 4k. There is another indy game that runs at 6k on the S.
yet miles morales takes four seconds to cold boot to the games menu, then a further 1.5 seconds to load from a save file. Something strange going on with BC games and loading from the ps5 ssd
Yes it can for Movies and apps.....
Nelson confirmed a while back that all games are rendered at 1440p or below and upscale to 4K. Having seen both running I cannot tell the difference between upscaled or native 4K tbh....

It can do native 4K no problem, there's no physical limitations to stop it.
Its got the same hdmi 2.1 as the X. Its just not powerful enough to do AAA games at 4k 60fps so they said it would upscale those to 4k from whatever resolution the devs set their render to. For indies and less demanding games, like Ori, they can output at 4k 60/30 whatever they choose to.
That’s interesting as I thought they used internal couriers. Hope I get a update this weekend.
I don't have an Xbox One but I thought it was supposed to be even better than the PS4? If you plug in an external HDD, you can record two hours of 4K footage in a single file, can't you?
