given the cost these are likely to be do you really think there is any competition?

You need to remember that the cost of memory is taking a nose dive. 2 years ago a 3600C16 16GB kit was £200+ here at OcUK. Manufacturers also know DDR5 is coming soon and will want to clear stock before the prices really plummet.

G. Skill has to price it well and I think that happens here. They know kits like the Crucial are about £140 with not bad timings so I expect these to be max £225. If they get silly and ask more than £250 then yeah there won't be any competition because nobody but the really die hard overclockers will buy them.

The G. Skill 3600 16GB B-Die kit could be had for £124 not too long ago so if they really want to capture attention these 2x16GB kits would be £199 which I feel is more than fair.

Heard it is better to populate all 4 memory slots when paired with the new Ryzen 5000 series.

Reading something about 4x single rank gives best performance. Can anyone confirm?

I don’t know which memory to buy. I want to go with 32GB and I was thinking to go with this x4:

Is that single rank? Do I buy two kits? So confused lol.

If it benefits anybody looking at the out of stock 2x16GB set, I asked in the CS section if the stock due date of 13/11/20 was still looking good and was told it is still expected.

Yeah man they are, I've got the 3600 set of that quad kit, nice to overclock too, 1.5v daily for 3800MHz @ cl14 with IF 1900MHz. I wish I had got the 4000 now but not too much of a problem, also the 3600 is cheaper, also £50 cheaper from when I purchased them 10 months ago.

These are the ones I've got now @ £210 bargain!
