Hello folks, apologies if posting in the wrong forum (this seems to be more mid/high end servers).

I was using a piece of software to automatically backup folders on my pc to a synology ds115j.
Ive since done a reformat but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of the program I was using.
(Its not the data replicator 3 since that was a bit crappy).

If anyone has any advice on similar kind of software I would be grateful for your recommendations, thank you.

Thanks bud, it seems to be quite hefty though, 3.2GB?

Im honestly not looking for anything over the top just simple backup of some folders on my PC to my DS115j nas (basic 1TB affair).

Is Veeam overkill for this? Anything simpler?

I'd still use Veeam Agent tbh, don't think it's 3gb.. more like 0.5gb. takes full system images, nice and simple and quick

For some reason the one I downloaded came in at 3gigs.
But as mentioned I got SyncBack which is plentiful and actually quite versatile for free software.

Looks like a reasonable piece of software. Do you use anything beyond the free edition, such as the SyncBack Management System?

No just the free version, honestly it ticks the boxes and does what I need it to do.
So all is good :)

Thanks to all for your help.
