Weird. It's technically sensitising, not toxic, so only an issue if you have direct skin contact.

Well the vapour can be very irritating, though some resins are worse than others. Really needs to be run in a well ventillated area - an extractor to the outside being the best idea. You usually have to wash the prints with IPA, though a few are 'water soluble' that can just use water. Then the prints need curing using UV light (you can use sunlight but in the UK during Winter we don't see much of that lol!). A UV lamp designed for the job is best. Resins seem to be expensive for what they are. Also, most prints are solid - you don't use a %infill like with fdm, but it is possible to make your model hollow and leave drainage holes.

I use the Elegoo resins which I find are ok. The printer is at the end of the kitchen in the utility and unless I'm right beside the printer, I can't smell it - but sure, some are more sensitive to the smell that others. I don't use IPA for washing parts, I use TPM which is non flammable and has a mild smell - like soap or strong floor cleaner. I have tried water soluble resins but I don't really get on with them, and peversely they smell more than the standard resins. I have an Anycubic wash and cure station - you can see it in the photo. And yes, most of my large prints are printed hollow with drain holes.

FYI, I've been resin printing for 5 years.

Just about to order one as my first ever printer, how you finding it ?
Some teething problems initially but thing is workhorse left it doing 18 hour prints more than once and never batted an eye.

The recently released prusa slicer 2.3 is also very great with the new features they've include for top layer finishing.

Be aware their shipping is still up in the air as far as I know to the UK I was eyeing some recently released upgrade parts.
