Give him time. He is still trying to process Trump losing.

I think Trump losing has just pushed him over the edge, he's gone nuts. Like you say it'll take him some time to find another retarded cause to support, he'll be back to normal then :p

The motive is trolling, that's all. His comments read like a right-winger pretending to be left and then calling out anyone who says anything vaguely right wing/non-woke for his own amusement.

It's actually an anti-left thread masquerading as an anti-right one.

It's a load of toss is what it is, but then I think everyone knows this.

FTFY.

Your negativity and lack of compassion is not welcome here.

You obsession with the POTUS has pickled your brain.

If you want to provide a positive comment on the oppression of BAME people and the need for open global immigration then you are welcome.

These poor people being repressed by the UK's backward immigration system.

Let them get out there and contribute to society.

It's time to stop global oppression. After Covid-19, we need to think big.

That's not a riot. They're just wobbling a gate, a bit.

I remember proper riots, with bricks flying and cops beating people up and stuff on fire. The good old days, before everyone had camera phones.

I think that's enough now, thanks for your input

Everyone with viewpoints anywhere less extreme to the right than plasmahal has been dealt a crushing blow by the devastating wit, insightful comments and cutting observations contained in this thread. Bravo

I’m an extreme rightie. A lot of people don’t understand that. I think I know more about the extreme right than most people.

Or I was retorting in the (almost) words of a recently demoted numpty :p

I have zero interest in politics and/or posturing, I do however like a bit of wry humour

but having said that, I have great relationships with racists and neonazis, as you possibly have heard. I just have great respect for them. And they like me. I like them.

My answer to this is resolved in two sentences.

1. Capitalism wants to operate in a minimally regulated environment.
2. People escape dictatorships regularly.

Someone should explain how the Democrats and Republicans basically swapped sides on race sometime between Roosevelts new deal and the civil rights legislation in the 60's

Voting on the civil rights act would suggest otherwise, it would have to be significantly afterwards.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_Rights_Act_of_1964#Vote_totals

The original House version:[24]

  • Democratic Party: 152–96 (61–39%)
  • Republican Party: 138–34 (80–20%)
Cloture in the Senate:[25]

  • Democratic Party: 44–23 (66–34%)
  • Republican Party: 27–6 (82–18%)
The Senate version:[24]

  • Democratic Party: 46–21 (69–31%)
  • Republican Party: 27–6 (82–18%)
The Senate version, voted on by the House:[24]

  • Democratic Party: 153–91 (63–37%)
  • Republican Party: 136–35 (80–20%)
