Glorious Model O - replacement cable with no replacement skates

Hi All,
Just wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue,
I recently got a Glorious Model O mouse, and I got a purple cable to go with it.

On the product listing for the cable, there is a video describing how to fit it, and it says that the cable will come with new feet skates (which you need to replace after fitting the new cable). However the feet did not arrive with the cable.

I've been emailing customer support today and have basically been told that the skates do not come with the cable, and I should complain to the manufacturer if I don't like it.

To top this off the customer service guy is now fed up with me, and has just automatically authorized a return/refund when I have said that I don't want to return the cable.

Call me crazy, but that's not cool to advertise something and not send it out right?
The mouse and cable are awesome, but the customer service has been shocking.

Whos video/product listing?, the manufacturer or the retailer? That will be the crux of the isssue, I think.

Does the manufacturer of the cable specify the extra parts on thier product spec?

OC's listing doesn't specifically say you have to buy the skates separately so I thought the video would be correct, as it forms part of the product description.

Thats actually quite interesting, the OCUK product description makes no mention of new feet/skates, but they have a video saying that the cable comes with skates (maybe as they might get busted during cable replacement).

There are pictures of the replacement feet which suggests they are part of the cable purchase.

Could be construed as false advertising, OCUK have a customer service sub-forum, have you tried asking in there? that said, on the manufacurers website it says cable kit, not just cable, maybe there is a seperate product that includes the feet... still it's confusing...

Ah cool, I didn't realize there was a customer service section, I'll put it on there.

Yes I thought it was confusing too, I deliberately checked the video again before I ordered because I thought it would be annoying to get the cable with no feet. Lo and behold that's what happened!

For anyone interested, I put this on the customer service section, and OC are maintaining that the cable doesn't come with the skates and that's the end of it

I suppose this is why Amazon are doing alright!
