Had a weird thing on the aorus master one I had where it literally wouldn't give signal to my lg cx after i moved my pc. Tried different cables and ports etc and no signal, thought the card had died. Then I pulled HDMI cable out of the card and put it back in, but not all the way in as far as it could go, and it worked, was really weird.

Yeah tried that and different HDMI cable. Just drained my primary rig and removed the 3 GPUs in there (such a pain) and still nada along with putting another GPU in rig I was trying the 3090 initially in.

To be fair opened a ticket and got RMA ticket back in 10 mins along with letting them know my preference of a collection date for it and courier arranged to pick it up.

I am not sure if someone dropped it to be frank before putting it into the external box for shipping to me as the outside of the 3090 box goes have a pretty deep mark in it which was odd.

Well not accepting a brand new 3090 can be broke, unpacked it again and been giving it a bash again. Seems the displayports work fine, just the HDMI not working. It does seem to send a signal to the screen as my monitor detects a input and does not display "no HDMI input" when there is nothing, but screen is just blank.

Shame as now using it with DP, this looks like a good chip, OC'd peaks at 2175 Mhz in benchmarks, sits at 2130 Mhz in gaming and no coil whine, just the dang HDMI port!

My 3090 msi trio x arrives tommorow

i paid for sat delivery lol cant wait to test and tweak,
anyone know of any crossflashing tips or anything to increese powerlimit or get better overclock, im hoping i can get over 2000mhz at least on the oc.. and keep it as a sustained overclock no jumpinng between bins lol

Zotac 3090 on the way some time during the week, and an EKWB block and backplate. 5950x hopefully coming with that OCUK shipment too and im bouncing around the house like a 10 year old

Now just hoping my screen comes next week too.

ok i just got my MSI 3090 Gaming Trio, and it works great in everything i have tested so far be it gaming and benchmarks
but the problem is DLSS

when ever i enable DLSS i get massive corruption in any game that requires the use or use ie being used DLSS....
has anyone else encountered this issue.
its like memory corruption im seeing.

nope, but only used it in two games so far, control and shadow of tomb raider. What games you tried it in?

the games i tested where marvel avengers and death stranding. but i seem to have fixed the problem it seems it was a driver issue.
i reinstalled the drivers seems the driver i installed was 457.30 WHQL and for some reason when i was messing about with doing stuff a different driver was auto installed called 460.20 i think and that driver on 3090`s is broken DLSS completely breaks when using it as when i noticed this driver i reinstalled 457.30 WHQL and everything was fixed and working correctly

thank god like cause i thought i was about to send this card back lol and there like hens teeth right now.

Hopfully I've picked one of these up from MM, can't wait. Orginally wanted a 3080 the 10gb vram didn't sit right with me though so waited on the 6800XT, turns out my 2080ti can RT better so I'm sick of the waiting game and trying to get stock so I'm going all in with the 3090 - no more worries needed, now seeing Cyberpunk needs 10gb maxed.

I'm trying to find out why when using GPU-Z and Afterburner\EVGA X they all read different.

Stick to one, they all read different for every one. memory clock isn't like find the point it artifacts any more, the 3000 series has memory protection to safe guard memory clocks, it will down clock memory just like boost clocks. temp is the under lying factor.

Seems flashing the MSI 3090 Trio 370w max board power with a EVGA OC500w bios works

Has anyone managed to get oc scanner to work correctly with a 3090. I get error 22h and then when I do get it to work it says it’s unstable anyway. :confused:
