Had this bike since I was about 14 years old. I realize I will never ride it again, so would like to see how much it is worth in the hope someone else can get some enjoyment out of it.

It's a Giant ATX 980.

    XT Rear Mech
    Deore LX Front Mech
Deore LX V Brakes + Leavers + Gear Shifters
Club Roost go fast Handle Bars
    Deore LX Cranks
    JMP Pedals

Bike hasn't been used for a fair few years, but has always been stored inside.
It's in pretty good condition and everything still seems to work.

Be interested to know what it would be worth?

Thanks.

£25?

I’m afraid I can’t put a very high value on it. It’s not particular rare, high end, niche or interesting. I guess your best bet would be ebay and hope you get two people who had one years ago and want to relive that and bid against each other.

You’d be best keeping it as a pub/beater bike for riding around locally.

I have an old MTB and have resigned myself that’s all it’s worth using for and isn’t worth selling as I’d not get much/anything for it.

I agree, though there is retro bike forums so worth checking them out - you never know a quick look on the bay says they can go for up to £200 but they look in very good condition. I'd probably give it away to a friend in need.

Thanks for the replies. I guessed as much and have held on to the bike for years for sentimental reasons.

Have stripped most of it down and listed the parts for sale.

Thanks.
