Drivers are ab-so-lute-ly perfect for everything else.
Rock solid, haven't had so much as a twitch. Plug and play.
Haven't tried RT yet, but this is their first generation so I probably won't even use it TBH.ll

What's sad though, is it is 9 people, but I didn't even get mine on launch day.

I got mine on Friday from another Etailer I can't name, they got a 2nd batch on the Friday, 12 in and I was one of those 12.

So there are more out there, just not posting here...for sure there aren't many but I think many more will start trickling in, especially once they catch up console demand and make the switch to manufacturing more GPUs, could take a while though.

Still gonna try my luck again on Wednesday for a 2nd card, AIB this time.

Really want a Sapphire Nitro+

So I managed to get a 6800 from OCUK on launch day and have used it in my first gaming pc build.

Specs:

Motherboard- Asus x570 plus wifi
CPU- Ryzen 5 3600
RAM- G skills Ripjaws 3200mhz 32gb
SSD- Addlink S70 1tb
PSU- Corsair RM750X
GPU- Radeon 6800

The pc boots fine and is great for everything else other than gaming. I've tried playing Warzone, Apex and CS GO but I get a driver timeout error. The error can occur 5 mins into playing or take 45mins to an hour. I've messed around with game settings, underclocked the GPU and updated everything possible. But the problem persists......

Would anyone be able to try any of these games with your 6800? Is this likely to be a driver issue and I need to wait for an update, or is my card faulty?

Just some help would be greatly appreciated. Or point me towards the right forum. TIA!

I would also check motherboard BIOS update, chipset drivers before hinging the gpu driver on the culprit. As its so new it could be the GPU driver. Would have to see others though to get better insight.

Some people got joy setting PCI-e 3 (for GPU) in BIOS so worth a try if you have covered the above.

Thanks for your reply!

I have updated the MB Bios to the latest non Beta version and I updated the chipset driver on the day of the build.

Will give setting the PCI-e to 3 for the GPU a go. Failing that is there anything else that could be worth trying? At what point would you start thinking it was a hardware fault?

Cheers

A hardware fault would be BSOD territory, lock up, rainbow screen or machine shut down. Is the error message after it kick you to desktop, can you take screen or use phone to capture?

You can also check your EventViewer logs and filter it to show critical errors at the time it happens.

Spoiler alert: 15% more performance with 6800. The 6800 XT can now beast the 3080 across the board.

I’ve been playing hours of warzone and CS:GO, no issues on 6800. System differences: Ryzen 3600X on an asus gaming f b450 board, which I think is PCI-E 3x. I am on the latest bios and latest stable AMD driver.

Hope you get sorted!

Boys and girls this card is amazing "Sapphire RX 6800".
My previous card was a 2070 Super, and still I can see the difference in speed, and quiet.
My card working with 925Mv 2330Mhz core 2100Mhz Memory speed.
Reported Power consumption is around with UV is 170W (220 base) Probably this is just the mem and the core not TGP.

Just got a 6800, would have preferred a 3080, but I was sick of waiting. may swap it out for a 3080 or 6800xt once there is more availability. Sure beats using a 780gtx at 1440 tho

I was exactly the same. Needed a new GPU all year, hung on until 3000 and 6000 series were released to find they’re like a needle in a haystack! Though, now I actually have a 6800 I think a 6800xt or 3080 would be surplus to requirement. 6800 runs Max settings ultra wide 1440 like a dream
