Pulled the trigger today on the Inno3D iChill Frostbite 3090! Was hoping it would have been delivered tomorrow as OcUK had 5 in stock when ordered - still at order received status! Biggest purchase by a country mile ever in my 22 years of PC building/gaming! What's everyone's thoughts on the 3090? apart from the fact its ruddy expensive!

Here's mine that arrived on Friday, absolutely monster. Make a certain old long boy seem small.
Although kind of odd being in the box without an anti-static bag.

Absolutely delighted with how quiet it is over my old Titan V

Now I just need that 5950X to let me fly.

Has anyone managed to get oc scanner to work correctly with a 3090. I get error 22h and then when I do get it to work it says it’s unstable anyway.

No, even the latest beta doesn't work either with a report of unstable. At least the rest of it works.

This arrived last Friday. Recently upgraded my case to a White Lian li o11 white, so this Gigabyte 3090 Vision OC fitted in nice as its white/silver. Upgraded from a 1080ti, what a jump in performance!

What FPS are people getting in COD: Warzone, all settings maxed (RTX Off) @ 4K?

I'm sitting between 80-100fps in downtown, 3090 FE running at stock.

You realise you spent basically the same amount of money on some random inno3d as the kingpin?

And if it's SO EXPENSIVE like you say, return it, get a 3080. You probably don't need 24gb vram.

Its your money - Jonny... at least so I was scolded for many a time (on these forums) in history for mentioning the 2080Ti was too expensive.

Yes a few factors I can see are, people are getting fed up of checking alerts, being ready to pounce (not everyone can stop work and do this), Brexit could inflate prices into 2021, and the competition to grab either 3080's or 6800XT's is going to make it far from simple.

I am going to explore the features I get this time (not been on nvidia in a while) and see what developer tools can exploit when not gaming. Interested in the 10% faster claims by some - then see a review online where it can be up to 30% faster than a 3080 which is quite a margin actually.

Not interested in the Kingpin or Hybrid cooling tbh..
Going from a 1080Ti FTW3 under an EKWB, so hopefully should be a nice upgrade for my Odyssey G7 at 1440p (240Hz) and through to my shield on a 4K (60Hz) 60" panel, when I get the TV to myself!
Yeah don't do tick, so bought outright, been saving since I got my 1080Ti 3 years back...

Same upgrade I made - you will be happy. Plus managed to sell the 1080ti FTW3 for 370 quid on a famous auction site. I wont be getting that kind of percentage money back on the 3090!!!!

Honestly you should get a LG OLED 48CX with 3090, not a low end gimmicky 240hz VA panel... But you do you, atleast you got a card.

Aside from the fact it's OLED, 4K 120Hz, you won't hit 240Hz on your 3090 at 1440p, it's a waste imo.

Read the reviews!, always preferred a monitor setup as I am an old school gamer (gaming since '79) My TV is a great, Panasonic 10bit HDR panel which I am more than happy with. Your argument here is swings and roundabouts, whatever floats your boat man, I am happy with my setup! I don't and have never had a console, so a TV is not really much use to me full time..

What is your setup for interest?

I have an Intel Xeon W-3175X, 192gb 3200 cl14, dominus extreme, 2x 4tb 860 Evo, 2x 12tb WD gold, 4x 4tb mp510, rtx 3090 founders(getting second at some point) and LG OLED 48CX.
