Hi guys, I haven't kept upto date on what's best for a few years and all these different versions of ryzen etc are quite confusing.

Got a budget of 500 for a new motherboard, cpu and ram and potentially an nvme drive. I'll rock stock cooler until next month. I've already got a new psu, corsair 450w Platinum so no worries there. Gaming on a 27 inch 1080p screen.

Build is used for playing wow, overwatch and music production.

Thanks!

Sorted everything in your budget. The 3600 can also be found for £30 cheaper elsewhere to save more money. Also gives you an upgrade path to a 5*** series ryzen should you want to in the future.

Looks to be a great build, thank you.

Your welcome.

Ignore the X and XT versions of the 3600 they are generally a waste of money over the standard 3600.

Also just checked there is no cooler for the m.2 included with the motherboard so you will need one. Either a plain one or rgb if thats your thing.
