That's a very impressive score on Timespy, nice one!

@LtMatt good job on bagging an AMD branded one. Cheaper, and that box could go on the wall!

Doesn't it feel so substantial? Absolutely solid, feels like it's been carved out of clay.
Yes, the best reference card ever in terms of looks, acoustics and performance.
That looks like a really sweet card mate

It seems from reading this thread that AMD have a great GPU on their hands this time and most seem very happy with their new cards?

What size AIO is that in your case Matt, 420mm?
Yep definitely, it's impossible not to be happy with the quality of this GPU, especially for the price. (assuming you buy one from AMD Shop or elsewhere at RRP)

It's a 420MM AIO from Arctic, it's very nice and slightly improved (new mounting bracket) from the 360 version. Liquid Freezer II - 420 (arctic.ac)

This is my build,
Sapphire Radeon RX 6800 MBA from overclockers.co.uk
Ryzen 5 3600
DEEP COOL GAMMAXX GTE V2 WHITE CPU cooler
MSI B550A-Pro motherboard
4x8Gb Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G32C16U4B 3200 MHz OC to 3600MHz
1TB Sabrent Rocket Q M.2 SSD
2 TB Crucial BX500 SSD
WD Blue 2 TB hard drive
Corsair RM850 Gold PSU
Corsair 110r case (because I may want to put an optical disk in there sometime)
3x corsair AF120 White LED case fans.

There's a cheap GPU bracket in there because I was originally going to put a 6800XT in, but you all can guess how that went. Went with the bracket anyway since the 6800 is still quite a heavy card, plus I already had it and it wasn't worthwhile sending it back.

Main reason for upgrading from my i7 47000k/GTX 1080 is sitting on top, performance with the Quest 2 is great, even though I can't quite max out resolution in all games, have to keep scale around 1.4@90Hz to get smooth gameplay with all settings maxed on Asgard's Wrath, bigtime improvement from before though. Will eventually be hooked up to a Dell 1440p 165Hzz monitor, but have it hooked into the living room 75" LG LCD until that arrives.

Haha I had a mare.

Went to post a pic if my card but did a massive quote by mistake, forgot how to post images, got stuck on a work call for over an hour, forgot about this completely and then just ate a sammich. :p
Lol, it gave me a good chuckle thanks. :D

I ordered a reference Sapphire 6800 on the 18th from elsewhere. I hadn't heard anything for a week so I assumed I wasn't getting one. Decided to call them and it turned out I was on a preorder list when they weren't accepting preorders. Got passed to a manager who apologised and said they had some spare MSI stock and would I accept instead - turned up this morning, rather surprised, was certain I'd missed out.

What is the recommended procedure these days RE drivers? Going from a Vega 56 on some old 19.10 drivers (they've been stable, so stuck with them). Is DDU still recommended?

Much obliged to you Besty.

Just reinstalled my OS so should hopefully have a valid score to post tomorrow.

My score will be beaten easily by AIB 6800 XTs as i am power limited and it's holding the score back.

Mine just kept dropping to something like 48FPS IIRC, and lagged and spiked, it was a far smoother experience with it off, it's likely I did something wrong and I was expecting it to feel and look more fluid, maybe my expectations were too high as well?
I've noticed that windows updates drop my monitor refresh down every now and again in andvanced monitor settings, dont know if that helps.
