Is the system performing fine in other games with similar or higher requirements?

What GPU (Graphics card) is in the system?

GPU, I have an Nvidi GTX 750Ti. This is what the game recommends you have

  • MINIMUM:
    • OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64bit)
    • Processor: Intel Core i3 2GHz or equivalent
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM
    • Graphics: AMD R7 200 Series / NVidia 700 series with 1GB vram or above
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Storage: 4 GB available space

System requirements are quite low assuming I have the right game on Steam and its got very positive reviews so probably not the game.

I would try turning the graphics settings down and see if it makes any difference.
Also checking if anyone else is caning your broadband at the time. :p

GPU, I have an Nvidi GTX 750Ti.

That is the bottom end of the 700-series gaming GPUs. Just a thought but the monitor is plugged into the GPU and not the motherboard video, isn't it?

Something you can do if you have a second monitor is to fire up Task Manager and look at CPU usage and GPU usage. If you don't have a second monitor use MSI Afterburner.

Attached is a copy of my DXDiag file.

What does DXDiag produce if you click 'Display 1' or 'Next page'?

If anything, turning the settings down in the game will at least tell you if the GPU is struggling, doesn't matter if the visuals look bad, it's for diagnostical purposes.

Depends how CPU heavy the game is though, lowering the settings might actually offload more work to the CPU, which could (in some cases) not help.

Requirements for the game are reasonably low though, but you need to play around with the settings to see if anything changes with adjustments.

The requirements are a bit vague - presumably they mean it'll run on a very low end 700 series card, rather than a 780ti.

Check your drivers first. Start with the latest from Nvidia, then have a look at the steam forums in case it needs something older. Have you tried a dsl speed test lately?

google suggests the Min spec cpu is a mobile i3-5005u, pretty much the same core speed as your 930 (i doubt the game uses more than a single core)
you will need to run with lower settings, maybe even minimum, the i3-5005 recommendation is apparently for 1280x720. what are you running at?

PC is lowis spec, although game doesnt seem to need a high spec but even so almost always when i see a poorly performing computer its maxing out either cpu at 100% or disk in task manager.

Remember you need grunt for updates, virus checkers and other system resources or tasks you might not know about.
Also 90% of home built pcs i see have MS drivers on all peripherals like GPUs and storage drivers... nope.... nope and nope.
