Just got my 3080 FE for the first build. Installed everything but when it's gaming full screen, the monitor loses signal. Anyone know what that might be? In windowed mode, there isn't an issue.

Also, is it normal for FE to hit 75c?

Have tried, full windows installation, full win installation with no net and manual driver installs. Can't get my head around it. Getting a Displayport cable delivered today and I'm hoping that solves the issue.

Thanks, no its a custom one I got off the guy on Etsy.

Have you checked that your refresh rate is set correctly in Nvidia Control Panel ? Could be your displayport cable.

75c in what benchmarking or games ? Benchmarking would say its fine, games maybe not so (for me) I like to keep it under 70c. With gsync off and it unleashed I get around 72c benchmarking same in games but if I limit it to my refresh rate of my monitor (75mhz) and enable GSync and vsync in Nvidia Control Panel (vsync off in games) then it averages 53-55c in games but it means I get minimum 75fps.

Seems normal. Mine will sit between 75c and 77c in intensive games with the default fan curve.

3080 FE I got a few days ago. Nice upgrade from a 3gb 1060!

Noticed a bit of plastic film on motherboard that I missed before! Will sort that sometime

May I recommend undervolting the card, I've just done it on my 3080FE, reduced power usage by 60W, reduced temps by 10c, clock speeds stabilised, and benchmarking figures either matched or slightly beat stock. I'm sat at a steady 1875Mhz at 0.875v, benchmarking I'm hitting 63c, playing Cyberpunk its 58-60c.

What model do you have? Try 1900Mhz @ 887mV.

I've undervolted the card a bit and it improved Time Spy score by 500 but that's about it, hasn't really lowered the temperature. I've installed my AIO fan at front to push air in which seems to have helped, the CPU at least. GPU is still getting to 70C in 3DMark .Not sure what else I can do about this GPU.

My figures are 1935Mhz / 862. I'm quite new to all this stuff so still learning everyday.

Have you done some tweaking to the fan curve? I'm trying to figure out a way to ramp up AIO fans if GPU hits a certain temp as they're the ones pushing air in.

What kind of support would I need for stability, to prevent sag?
I read someone bought a support because the card was heavy.

Got my PNY XLR8 3080 delivered today - replaced a 3060 Ti which I'd managed to get hold of earlier this month but will be sold on.

First point of business was to undervolt it, it's quite happily sitting at 806mv @ 1815mhz with temps of 65c and manageable audio levels - it will go under water soon though for even less noise

This is the performance the RTX 3080 owners can expect in F1 2018 at 2160p everything maxed out and SSRT shadows disabled, Ambient Occlusion is On, Anti-aliasing is set to TAA Checkerboard. Warm system.

You need MSI Afterburner 4.6.3 Beta 4 to change the voltage on 3000 series cards.
