I've been running my current pc for nearly the last ten years with a few upgrades along the way and have recently added a 1070GTX as I've started playing some games again.
It runs what I play on GTA V, Battlefield 2, F1 2019 fine but I'd like to to be able to run some of the newer titles.
I'm also maxed out on drive space aswel and don't want to invest in an old SATA SSD when the new M2 drives are hundreds times faster at least on paper but my existing motherboard won't support them.
With all that in mind I am looking for advice on an upgrade to a AMD Ryzen setup.
Max budget of £700 but cheaper the better.
I intend on keeping my existing Case, PSU, GPU and water cooling setup unless you can give me good reasons not to, so I will just need CPU, Ram, MB + SSD.

With the proposed new setup combined with my 1070GTX can I expect to be able to run newer titles at 1080p?
