Haha. Yeah he is easy peasy. Surprised he did not run away from you like he did in my battle.

What was your before and after respec?

He ran away at about 10% health, I found him and finished him off with a final blow.

My before spec had wasted points in crafting, rifles, shotguns and breach that I wasn’t using. They are all now mostly in blades and a few in the health and melee areas of athletics. I have the final level 18 and 20 perks of blades now - as if I wasn’t OP enough anyway.

On the final stretch now with Panam which has been a great story arc, but I’ve saved a slot before the point of no return.

I'm regretting all the points in assault referring to cover.

Gonna go back and delete them all.

Well, I say I regret them, I don't actually have anything much else to put points into. But I sure feel like a prat parking up to use cover.

Out of all the ones you mentioned I only put them in crafting which I enjoy. I can always respec later if I want to once I am done crafting my final items. I have been putting stuff in quickhacks lately as I enjoy to do a bit of that, but of sniper rifle and some melee action. Nice to mix it up.

I’d have spare at higher levels to specialise into something else on top, probably crafting. In the beginning I thought I’d go down the gun route, but kept changing my mind as to which guns - before I discovered blades and how powerful they are if used well (and that I don’t have to faff with aiming). I one shot everything now even without the strong attack - bosses get overwhelmed by the bleeding and burning effects. Crafting will get a load of points eventually.

Should finish the Panam ending tomorrow, will then do side quests until I get bored.

Yeah I straight up didn't use them from the start because I couldn't see it really being useful in real gameplay versus theoretical gameplay but if you level up stuff like assault it doesn't leave you a lot of options for using perks.

Probably a bit more useful for people playing on consoles or via controller, etc.

Hmm I thought the DX12 implementation for Windows 7 wasn't supposed to support ray tracing in CP2077? I just copied my install over to Windows 7 and started the game up and it seems to have ray tracing enabled - though no DLSS so performance is meh.

As a non-melee build, I'm finding the Cripple Movement hack overpowered as hell. The cooldown is quick enough that by the time the first one has worn off, you can hack them again pretty much immediately after. Makes melee bosses like
Oda
and
Sasquatch
a cakewalk.

Folks, can we keep spoilers tagged, even if they're minor? Haven't had a chance to play much so I'm way behind most of you... :(

As there is no "avoid spoilers" rule in this section (unlike the TV/Movies section) you're left with two choices - either expect everyone else on OcUK to do something differently just because you don't want read something OR you stay out of the thread til you catch-up - As I can only control my own actions and not those of others I know which one I would pick out of the two if I wished to avoid spoilers, irrespective of whether I think "put stuff in spoilers" is good manners or not.

Appreciate this is an Internet Forum and not a democracy so I don't "expect everyone else" to do anything, however given a lot of people are interacting in this thread for reasons other than plot discussion, and 95% of the contributors here are being considerate and tagging spoilers, it is such a big deal to use that third option and ask that the others follow suit?

Again, YOU can only control YOUR actions and not those of others so if YOU want to avoid spoilers then I suggest YOU avoid this thread rather than wanting everyone else to do what YOU want, even if I agree with you that adding spoilers would be a considerate thing to do and something I try to do myself.

EDIT - Sorry if it sounds like I'm being harsh, it's not meant to come across like that, more of a "only you can control what you see" thing.

Finished the main story and happy with the ending I got. Don’t feel a huge urge to replay until it’s been well patched. The game became a lot more fun for me once I focussed on an effective blade build. There certainly seems to be a huge range of potential builds and play styles which is great.

I have avoided doing the mission where it says no going back. I keep getting more side missions so I keep doing those. Level 45 at the moment.

Did you do the one where you get Jonny's Porche and nearly bang Rouge?

Could someone please tell me how far through the main story I am? I've been doing so many side missions (as in, all of them) that I've completely lost track of the main narrative. The last main mission I did involved meeting someone called Takemura in a diner, I think.

No, did the Panam one where you escape with her out of the city hoping to find a cure. I quite liked that ending. Seemed to fit well. Some of the others sound quite abrupt!

You're about 25-30% through the main story - absolutely loads to go yet and as you progress the main story it opens up even more side missions too!

This is a bizarre debate :) I am aware how the world works- I understand I can't control what people do, but I can ask for consideration?! That's all I did- ask.

If you were at the cinema and someone kept flicking popcorn at you, would you ask them to stop, or just walk out and miss the film because you can't control what they do?

For those using spoiler tags (which seems to be everyone since I mentioned it)- thankyou, I appreciate it! <3
