Hi all,

I’ve got some Perspex mirrors (600mm x 1200mm x 3mm) I want to put up in my garage gym. They’ll be put up on a painted plaster wall, and I don’t really want to drill in to it if possible, although I’m prepared to do so if needed.

I was however, hoping to be able to just use some kind of spray adhesive or 3M tape, they aren’t the biggest of mirrors, nor are they particularly heavy.

Any recommendations would be awesome.

Thanks

3m vhb tape (the red one) is good, and, ultimately, removable, I've used some for attaching mounts to car windscreens,
not sure if grip adhesives are removable, in comparison.

Good for glass on glass, but not sure about against plaster. It would likely rip the section of plaster away with it.

If you want a removable option, I'd use those wall hanging hook and loop tapes.

Unless you are really picky then I would just drill a few holes in the mirror and screw it to the wall. Simple reason is that it's a lot easier to repair a small 6mm hole in a wall than it is to sort out potential damage if the glue decides not to come off.
