New Build Randomly Shutting Down

So I've recently put together a new build

Case: Ncase M1
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-i Gaming
CPU: 3700x
GPU: RTX 3080
RAM: Team Group 8Pack Edition 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C16 3600MHz set to XMP
PSU: Tried Silverstone SX650g (returned) and Corsair SF750 (current)

The above build seems to be on occasion shutting down seemingly at random. It's not very frequent (maybe once or twice a day) and hasn't happened so far when gaming / under load. It's an instant hard shutdown after which the PC boots pack up.

I used the RAM and CPU in my old ATX build without issue.

It's occurred on both PSUs I've used, updating the BIOS didn't fix it, and the RAM has been reseated. Any ideas what it might be / what I could do to diagnose?

Some people report that AMD motherboards can be a bit fuzzy with the ram. You could try disabling XMP to see if this solves the issue as one option to try, it worked for me on one Gigabyte board

My old motherboard was totally fine but I hadn't ruled it out. It would be really annoying to be stuck with ram at stock though.

Check Windows sleep/hibernate .settings.

Is it likely to be this if it shuts down even while I'm using the PC?

Anything showing in event viewer around the kernel power critical error?.

Just got back from a walk and it looks like it's done it again while I was out. There's a couple of interesting sounding events in the log, including a kernal power critical error:

The WHEA error would most likey be the culprit for the restarts.

Try lowering FCLK to 1600 and ram to 3200 and see if that stops the crashes.
