So it’s not working via DP when you use your Reverb? Or DP to a monitor?

Either. It's like the ports are not connected. When I do start up WMR with the reverb the sound goes to the speakers, and the on-screen portal shows that it is tracking movement through the HMD, but there is no image displayed. Likewise the monitor is clearly receiving no signal whatsoever. Stumped!

Hi, can anyopne help please? I got a Nitro+ OC 6800XT, and I get no signal through displayport connections? HDMI works fine, but I can't use my Reverb, and DP to the monitor produces no signal either. Everything worked flawlessly on my GTX1080.... Latest drivers installed from AMD site, and no OC to anything - pc or GPU.
I've read of others with issues with the HP Reverb, bnut not really just connecting to a monitor. A little stuck, and don't want to RMA if I don't need to.

Thanks
Have you tried the DP cables “both ways” around? Have you reset the reverb to factory settings? Have you been in touch with the OEM or checked their help/forums for any way to diagnose the fault?

Almost definitely, they've been removed and replaced several times

Have you reset the reverb to factory settings?
Wasn't aware it can be anything other than default. I've never done anything other than plug and play

I've spent all day looking for help, this was, without disrespect to anyone on here, a last resort. I figured everyone on the owners thread would have one so if it's a common thing then I'd get a high hit rate. Alas no, it seems

If you were swapping from Nvidia to AMD did you use the DDU tool before installing the AMD drivers?

No, but I have no idea if it's too late to fix something that's been missed. Not sure how that would cause loss of video signal through some ports but not others though? Do you recommend I take some action in this regard, and if so, what please (I have no idea!)? Thanks

I’ve only had to run the DDU tool in the dark days of early 5700XT drivers but i believe the general consensus is that running it when moving from one manufacturer to another is a sensible bet. I have heard of people reinstalling Windows to try and get a clean run at things.
The Device Driver Uninstaller can be found on the Guru3d site if you want to try it

I’m by no means an expert so hopefully others may chip in with some ideas

Thanks. I have it, but wasn't sure if it's of any use now that I've already swapped. I can see an RMA on the horizon. Just ordered a new VESA certified DP cable, and if that doesn't work it'll be going back.

Question - do any of these cards come with a PCI slot brace?

My Sapphire Vega 64 has a pretty beefy cooler and came with one - you can see it running along the bottom edge of the card to support it (prevent flex and stress on the PCI-E slot):

Might as well add me to the roll of honour... looks like we are still a rather niche group

My 6800 did this on 1x displayport, the other was fine.

I DDU'D all drivers and rolled back from the latest and it fixed it. No idea why it happened.

Am I right in thinking the ARGB header on the SE is completly superfluous if I'm controlling the RGB using TRIXX? Not that I'm bothered by RGB but would like to understand if I'm missing something.

The GPU is the only component with RGB in my case, bar a small amount on the mobo that can't really be seen, so no need to me to control anything else.

Yes the header is there if you want to use something like MSI Dragon Centre (shudder) or similar to sync your motherboard and fans to your GPU
