Ok. I have asked a friend that works in Zen NOC. Hopefully it is information they are allowed to disclose.

LLU isn't relevant for GEA products. BTw pretty much always have more than one link out of exchanges, this isn't always the case for ISPs using their own backhaul or renting from people like TalkTalk.

Which is why I wanted to stay on a BTw connection really.

We've had periods of downtime on Sky and TalkTalk during Covid due to local fiber breaks, BTw connections have been fine.

I've used Zen for 10+ years now and i've not had any huge issues with them to be honest only Openreach.

Worst company ive ever used, not everyone has the same experiences i guess. They were terrible when i needed their support due to a faulty ONT box which they refused to acknowledge and i got out of the contract early and got the ONT fixed elsewhere.
