Try 375W power limit in MPT.
1.017v Max SOC voltage.
100% Fan speed |+ Zero RPM Off
Min Core Frequency 2600Mhz
Max Core Frequency 2700Mhz
Voltage 1.175v
2150Mhz + Fast Timings on Memory
In Game overlay Off, FreeSync off in Radeon Software

glol - how safe is that... feels hail mary :D :D

Is there any reason I couldn't run at 325w with my card if the cooling is turned up?
No, it just means you have more heat to dissipate and higher fans speeds to keep Junction below 110c.

I like a silent system and for that you'll want power draw in the region of 250-285W, so setting a peak of 300W should achieve that for the most part. YMMV.

Lol. I've gone as high as 400W, Timespy Extreme can spike to over 375W in my testing.

My original answer applies regarding 'safe'.

I went with 345w (300 with the 15% over)

76th for 3900x and a 6900XT... I daren't go harder !

Did you notice much different with RAM timings and speeds with your scores @LtMatt ? I've got this TeamGroup kit on XMP but for the life of me I can't get IF/DDR speeds up with any level of reliability. Can't get through a memtest !

Anyone 6900XT owners here think they could have been fine with a 6800 (non-XT) ?
I probably would have been fine for 95% of games. The 6800 wouldn't quite have cut it in Cyberpunk for me at 3440x1440 though without having to dial down some settings to hit 60 FPS. I would have got a 6800 XT if I could have got one at the time for under a grand. The nice unexpected bonus for me with the 6900 is having enough muscle to play games like Borderlands 3, RDR2 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider over 60 FPS at ultrawide 4K! No regrets here. :)

Ooo that's lovely and neat. What case is that Matt? I have the Phanteks Entho lux but the the side panel isn't a full window which is bothering me now as the pillar blocks the view. Think the next cash I drop on the PC will be on a new case.
It’s a Phanteks P600S, very nice case to build in tbh.
found the mpt online thankyou @LtMatt , set a 345w power limit and got a sizable bump in performance, thought my cpu has dropped a good 500 points for some reason still cracked 19k overall in timespy and plenty of tweaking to do :)

You are welcome.

it helps CPU scores a little. You’d be better off moving to a Ryzen 5800X or better, you’ll be wanting the extra IPC to drive the 6900 XT.

I had the money set aside at launch for a 3080 to upgrade my GTX 1080. Then the world of components went nuts. The upshot is I saved a bit more and bought a 6900XT. The extra money was going to go on a set of Fanatec pedals, but I'll hobble along for a bit longer with my current set of modded pedals.

Should be here Monday. Can't wait :D

Congrats, i bet you were tempted to pay for Saturday delivery. If you get lucky it may arrive Sunday if its via DPD.
It’s here and running in silent mode, it’s utterly silent!!! Love it.
Nice. Picture please. :)

So I think I may have got a really good chip.
So with a power target of 300w and a voltage of 1150mv with nothing else touched.
Get clock speeds around 2475mhz.
Around 20300 timespy gpu.
With a small frequency bump to 2650 and mem clock.

The waterblock alone as gained me around 5 fps in shadow of the tomb raider at 1440p
148-153.
What does everyones stock clock boost to in games standard?
