And being able to add this to UE4 makes me moist!

Impressive, the girl looked fantastic.

Yep, UE is pretty much the poster child of stunning tech demos and mediocre looking and horribly optimised games.

The problem is that it's now too easy for the average Joe to develop a game as all the hard work, the engine, has been done for them.

The biggest perk to ue4 is it doesn’t even require coding skills. There flowcharts allow people to make half arsed quick games and flood the market with them. There graphics look great but there all bought off the marketplace. Still, there is a lot of gems that come from ue4 and soon ue5

Are the UE engine(s) still the same as many years ago? Incredible tech demos, then the games look and play like ass which are nothing like the demos

No, it depends on the developer obviously.

Arkham Asylum/City/Knight all used Unreal Engine 3 (modified)

Gears of War has always used the latest iteration. Gears 5 is one of the better looking games on PC

It's been confirmed that the UE4 plug-in is actually the latest revision of DLSS 2.1 AND yes VR games are supported - any VR games built on the new UE4 have access to DLSS

The plug in is making DLSs integration easy work and its quickly bringing benefits

the system shock game and its steam demo now support DLSS, the developer posted saying it took them just a few hours over last weekend to implement DLSS using the new unreal engine 4 plugin. The game's 4k performance has now doubled

Fabled woods has also been updated for dlss, another unreal engine 4 game. The game's 4k performance has now tripled

Yup looks like incorporating dlss is easy now, great news! Should mean a lot more unreal engine 4 games add it going forward.

Fantastic read, so according to that guy, adding dlss 2.1 is literally download from the market place and hit enable

Also he's been working with Nvidia over the last "few months" to add rtx ray tracing.
