budget gaming pc

Hi guys
What would you suggest for a budget gaming PC, my friends son is looking to build a system, but currently only got around £310 to spend, I've said he wont get a gaming machine for that but what is the lowest you guys can spec a machine.
Wont need a graphics card or screen, this is just for the machine?

Tbh if no GPU needed you could get a second system running an AMD Ryzen G cpu for a reasonable price if you shop around on auction sites or local fb market place... Prices have hiked over the last few months so new components is out the question, Storage drives may be ok new

Its what i thought, would you thing more like 500-550 for a "new" system?

examples of new with and without a gpu. 2nd be your best bet for a decent card at a decent price. plenty of 2nd gaming systems for £300 if you look around.
