how does game pass work?

I have games pass on xboxe ons s and want to get series X.

would I be able to give Xbox one to my son and he will still have access to the game pass games whilst I play in the series x ?

On a similar note.. I have a series X upstairs and one X downstairs. I have downloaded Jedi Fallen Order on both but not started it yet. Can I play on either console and will they share the same save? Can I play on one then pick up where I left off on the other?? Or will it save the game locally?

Game saves are cloud based so you can continue from any machine you are logged into.

It works brilliantly, you just won’t be able to use instant resume in on the series if you last saved on the one.
