They are not holding on to the orders to earn interest, that is patently a ridiculous claim, they make pennies on the interest and lose £££ by selling cards ordered at MSRP that they could otherwise have sold for far more...

Good luck, me personally, I'd pull out and get something else, not saying I would even ever pre order in the first place. Your going to get mental illness constantly checking if your card is ready.

This is a very sad situation, I couldn't even think of being in a situation like this, I can imagine these pre order folk just want a card to play games, something they are passionate about and literally bunged in some long queue.

Me personally, I would leave the queue and invest in a console. If you can find one and not return to pc, until they sort it out.

I thankfully kept my GTX1080 was thinking about selling it, At the time.
Thank God I never did. I can't imagine not playing games for this long.

I'm definitely not going to cancel it especially when I've been in the Que for this long.
At this point I keep forgetting and getting surprised every Friday when an Email does come.

TBF some places have just cancelled pre-orders and refunded customers so they can sell the cards at higher prices rather than be locked into the pre order price so atleast OCUK are honouring pre-orders and the prices that were paid.

OC lose money on every refund since they have to pay for the transaction. At this point it's a balancing act between those costs along with the potential reputational damage of mass cancellations and the potential profit of selling to miners and desperados at much higher prices. In all I've read I've seen no commitments from OC staff to anything other than what they are legally required to do, as I understand it.

Be careful what you wish for, they would make a lot more profit doing just that...

Sure, if their goal is to cash in and check out of the industry. Otherwise they have a business to maintain beyond the next year or two. They're not doing us a favour by simply providing a service that several competitors also provide. Check out those avatars. It's business, not personal.
