I had corsair vengeance it was 3000MHz CL16 once i brought dark pro ram from Overclockers Uk Ive been getting random freezing only when doing light work (Cpu usage below 15%+) ive tested my ram at 3600Mhzin memtest 10 passes & it never failed perhaps its to do with C states?, Just a guess.
My system freezes when opening an app, once the apps loading sign freezes, i goto start & cant even restart pc, no crashes, no bsod, Just nothing eventually icons start to disappear & i press reset on pc.

3600 at CL14 is asking a lot of the memory controller. You could try a little more memory voltage, say 1.37-1.38v.

If that doesn't work, try backing it down to 3200MHz (leave timings the same) and see what happens.

If 3200 is stable, then it's manual tuning time...
You can probably run 3600 c15 no problem with the correct settings.

Ok, but whether the RAM itself is capable of those timings is one thing; doesn't mean the CPU will like it.
Are you sure it's 3600c14? Because the 8Pack kits come in 3200c14 and 3600c16 - there is no 3600/14 listed.

I would still recommend selecting 3200MHz to see if it works. I think the CPU's memory controller is the issue here. Slow the speed or the timings.

Its the ripped edition
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...3600mhz-dual-channel-kit-black-my-001-8p.html

im stable at 3733Mhz CL14 so far no crashes, Im thinking the freezing is associated with the GPU me using G12 Nzxt Bracket with Kraken x52 Cpu cooler I think one side isnt getting any airflow for vram & heat is causing freezing, i might be wrong only time will tell. so far so good after adding a 90mm fan & zip tied it to pcie & no faults so far. this fix will have to suffice for now until the pci slot fan bracket comes from china (i ordered last night) also in the past i have tested at default 2400Mhz & i still get freezing so i dont think lowering feq is the solution, thanks for your help mate & ill post a follow up in a few days time if the freezing has come back or not. Thank for the help.

Im not using a riser cable, also due to PCIE4 1st gen motherboards being backwards compatible i dont see the need to change the setting in bios unless you have some insight in that case i stand corrected. By the way Nice Rig.

I'm still getting random freezing, happens every day at least once or twice, missing a day here & there. Ive Decided to lower ram from Default DCCP Profile 14-15-15-15-30 3600Mhz to 16-16-16-16-35 3400MHz Fclock 1700 & im still getting freezing, When i think back i think it started when i got my second pair of ram.(Dame i should have brought Them together)

Sorry Tetras I misunderstood your Question, Im using M.2 NVME 980 Pro 1TB as OS Im on win10, i have 1tb 970 Evo Plus NVME M.2 & 960 SSD 1TB, Sandisk SSD, Crucial SSD, 2 Barracuda 2TB Connected through Sata, MB has only 2 m.2 slots & both are populated.

I wanted to be absolutely sure this time as i though it was fixed last time & it wasn't. What i found was the problem wasn't due to hardware issues, as i stated before? memtest passed 10x13 passes i even did memtest per ram stick only & it passed, the problem was driver related, the issue was AMD Chipset driver Rev 2.13.27.501 (I wanted the latest for my new ram) after using the older chipset driver available from my motherboard manufacture website my problem was resolved, Im on day 3 & not a single freeze & pc boots up faster. In case others face a similar issue. this was what fixed my problem.
