I chose a Fractal Define 7 XL case and saw that it had a hole for a fill port in the top panel. So when I kitted out the case I thought I should use it - seeing that the EK fill port fits the hole perfectly. I have an EK flat reservoir and managed to install it neatly above the pump such that a few adaptors fitted just as neatly between the fill port and the reservoir inlet. So now to fill the reservoir I just need to lift the case lid off and unscrew the fill port cap. Great idea? Well yes and no. Whilst accessibility of the fill port is good, so I'm squirting fluid from outside the case, the realities of the installation mean that air cannot easily escape the reservoir when I am filling. Squirt a bit too hard and the fill port gets water-locked and it overflows!
