I think what the game showed tonight is that if you replace someone out if form like rashford with an injured, unfit but decent footballer not just a road runner you can create more chances and actually hold up the ball.

Is Pogba still injured?

Saw this on youtube and it gave me a laugh.

Dinamo Zagreb players in the changing room before the game: "what are we gonna do, boss, we're two nil down!"
Dinamo Zagreb manager: "lads, it's Tottenham"

I'm a life-long Spurs fan and I can't argue with that...

That Glen Kanara statement...wow. Personally I believe him but I'm not sure how UEFA can act on this.

Yeah he's most likely telling the truth but it will be hard to prove either way if it wasn't picked up by any microphone. To me though it's what happened afterwards that really needs to be investigated.

Slavia assert that the alleged post-match assault on Kudela was "thought out, including deliberately covering the cameras at the scene of the incident", adding that the "brutal attack was carried out with full intensity in order to injure and cause physical damage".

If that's true than Rangers should be banned from European competitions for a season and given a hefty fine. Obviously there's no place for verbal abuse of any sort but that shouldn't excuse physical assault.

TBH this reads more of Slavia trying distraction tactics, they've said it was witnessed by UEFA officials but there hasn't been any comment from any of them regarding this, I fully support a couple of slaps to someone who makes racist comments, sick to death of this softly softly approach people need to be reminded there's consequences to their actions and obviously token fines aren't working.

This is the problem. Racism is horrible but the people who are genuinely racist know that its not acceptable and usually have the base cunning not to do it in a way that is provable. I don't know how you can ban someone without any proof.

I mean, the clearly can as its their rules but there is no "correct" answer in this situation. Punish him without evidence and that sets a bit of a dangerous precedent. Don't punish him and they are accused of not taking racism seriously.

Granted its the FA but the FA have banned people without evidence before...is it similar with UEFA? Looks like there was something going on after aswell

Yeah it could be just deflection buy it needs to be investigated.

That's fair enough and if a player wants to make it physical then do it there and then on the pitch like they do in ice hockey.

As you say fines don't works and need to be accompanied with lengthy or even life time suspensions.

Nice banner from the Slavia fans going around social media.

Lies from the Slavia statements, saying fans were in the stadium forcing them to enter the changing room. Police escort required for leaving the stadium, again another lie.
