With the current slight GPU shortage, it would be interesting to see desktop Intel Xe reviews.

I had the same feeling that the integrated GPU on these processors will be a benefit for Intel during the current shortages.

Get one of these and you can use your computer while waiting for a GPU.

I'd rather buy a Nvidia 710 and have the better CPU tbh. Underwhelmed by this release

It's worse in general than the 10900K for gaming, temps, power, and most multicore work. It even costs more.

If I had to buy right now, considering the stock and scalping situation. 10900K all the way.

The 11600k looks like the only one worth getting really as its actually reasonably priced compared to the 5600x. For the 11700k and up just get Ryzen instead.

11900k...lol. 8 cores and over 250 watts with the "sling more voltage at the cpu" mode. Their inability to transition to a smaller process has really kicked them in the plums, kitiguru reckons this cpu shouldn't exist at all only for them still being stuck on 14nm.

All reviews seem to suggest the 11600 is a good value against amd while Ryzen prices stay high, depending on motherboard cost of course, the 11700 is a complete waste, and the 11900 is inherently awful.

Then 11600 I'd say, for the pcie4 etc
No point not
There is also the increased power over time to consider, Intel is cheaper, but as hardware unboxed demonstrated to virtually match the 5600x in production benchmarks total system usage was 41% higher across the board.
Quite a lot when talking about longer term usage.

Haha the 11900k is such a huge scam - 350w power draw, new single core boosting tech and yet its still slower than a stock 10900k in games even when paired with tuned ram. Even with an all core overclock, a stock 10900k still demolishes the 11900k hahaha

the 11600k mostly beats the 5600x in gaming

Doesn't look like it. As for value, you'd be far better off buying a 10600K in terms of "bang for your buck". I've seen them under £200 recently. I can't see why you'd pay an extra £70+ for something that's barely an improvement.
