Advice: Monitor for 1440p@120Hz on Xbox Series X

I'm hoping to get some advice/recommendations on a monitor for my Xbox Series X. I specifically want it to be able to do 1440p@120Hz, and I basically only play CoD: Warzone. I have come up with the following list, but I would appreciate any recommendations, or advice on my current shortlist! The list is as follows:

- Dell S2721DGFA(€469)
- LG 27GL850(€430)
- Samsung Odyssey G7(€570)
- Asus ROG Strix XG32VQR/XG27VQ(€479 for 32")

There are a few popular, cheaper monitors that I've had to leave off the list, as while they support 1440p and have a >120Hz refresh rate, they are proven to not support 1440p@120Hz on the Xbox specifically(ViewSonic and Gigabyte). I'm not 100% sure all of the monitors on my list do support it, but I know that the LG and Samsung definitely do.

I've listed the prices I've found these monitors at, my budget is basically under 600 euro, but I would ideally like to spend as little as possible, so definitely open to cheaper options than the above. HDR isn't a massive deal to me, the main criteria is that it must be proven to work at 1440p@120Hz for the Xbox, have decent colour accuracy, and have <5ms response time. Cheers!

I bought two of the Dell S2721DGFA for £280 each and they’re fantastic for the Xbox Series consoles.

1440p120 with VRR works perfectly.

My brother-in-law is using this one - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...klit-widescreen-gaming-monitor-mo-00g-gi.html
He absolutely loves it and plays nothing but Apex.

From what I've read, Gigabyte monitors don't support the settings I'm looking for(on Xbox).

This monitor isn’t compatible - I have a series X and it doesn’t show up as an option.

I've read that it works if you turn off a menu option(I think it's adaptive sync?).

Nice, that is good to know! Where did you manage to get them for that price? I'm in Ireland, but it would still be worth my while paying import tax if I could get one that cheap from the UK.

They were easy to get for that price if you pre ordered or were buying around launch. Now I don’t see any below £310.

Where do you see that? I haven't seen one for less than £390 when scouring the web, not sure on the rules for posting links to other sites, but could you PM me if it's not allowed?

I can’t tell you as it’s against the forum rules. I guess I can share that there are 3 online stores in Switzerland selling for that price with stock.

Thinking about getting my lad a decentish 1440 monitor for his Series X and looking at the OC B grade offerings with a budget of around £300.

Can you educate me around HDMI. Does the monitor need to support HDMI2.1 to get the refresh rate @ 1440? Would it be a waste of money getting HDMI 2.0?

2.0 is fine for 1440p120.

I've got this monitor, works great with my Xbox Series X and PS5. Allows Xbox Series X to run at 1440p @120fps with VRR on and accepts a 4K 60hz signal from the PS5. It does have HDR but only certified to HDR 400. Has built in speakers which are fine for general viewing and a nice little remote.

I've got the,

BenQ MOBIUZ EX2710 27" 1920x1080 IPS FHD HDR 144Hz 1ms FreeSync LED Backlit Gaming Monitor

Think it was £230 from OcUK last November.

Works well with my Series X, 1080p at 120hz and VRR. Only game I play is Warzone and that works well lovely and smooth.
